Become a HeenenWeer volunteer driver and make a real difference in your neighborhood!
What will you do?
As a HeenenWeer driver, you’ll pick up and drop off local residents who have difficulty walking short distances.
You’ll drive within Buitenveldert in a green, electric, two-seater car (Canta) and take people to places such as:
• the supermarket
• the library
• community activities
• or a local restaurant
You’ll be part of a friendly and creative volunteer team.
We ask for a minimum commitment of one half-day per week — more is always welcome!
What skills do you need?
• A valid driver’s license
• Good communication and social skills
• A caring attitude and willingness to assist passengers from their front door to the car and back
• Basic knowledge of the transport app (we’ll teach you how to use it)
• Participation in volunteer meetings and knowledge sessions

Working hours
• Morning shift: approximately 10:00 – 14:00
• Afternoon shift: approximately 14:00 – 17:00
