As a “goede buur”, you give your neighbors a hand with simple volunteer work: having coffee together, doing a small job, shopping, a ride around town, or another friendly neighbor act!
Volunteering when it suits you is possible at Burennetwerk. “Goede buren” help their neighbors in Amsterdam and Weesp with small things that mean a lot, like having coffee together, doing a small job, shopping, or going for a ride around town. Small effort, big impact – that makes neighbors happy.
Every “goede buur” is different. You choose which neighbor request you want to take. Do you enjoy socializing? Then we match you with a neighbor who likes to have coffee. Prefer practical tasks? Then you get requests like changing a lamp, hanging a shelf, or tidying a garden.
Burennetwerk works around your schedule. You can take on requests that are recurring or one-time. You always decide, together with the neighbor, when you help.
As a “goede buur”, you receive an email with a request that suits you. Do you have time and want to help? Click yes. Does it not fit your schedule? Click no. It’s that simple. You can always decline and also take a break if you don’t have time, for example when traveling or during other changes in your life.
We receive requests every day and look for the neighbor who fits best. When there is a match, you get an email. You can also view open requests on our website or set up an email alert. Then you automatically get a notification if there is something for you.
Become a “goede buur” at Burennetwerk, because everyone deserves a “goede buur”!
