The Amsterdam Recharge Club – Beyond Burnout, a wellbeing initiative for burnout prevention and recovery, is forming a stichting. Seeking a Treasurer to support financial governance and oversight.

1. About the organization
Amsterdam Recharge Club – Beyond Burnout (ARC) is a fast-growing community supporting people in burnout prevention and recovery through accessible, community-based wellbeing experiences. Since launching in February 2025, ARC has hosted over 90 events and built a strong, engaged international community of more than 700 people in Amsterdam.

ARC is currently formalising as a stichting to ensure financial transparency, access public funding, and scale sustainably. To support this transition, we are looking for a Treasurer to join the founding board.

2. About the role
We are looking for a Treasurer who is clear, pragmatic, and reliable, and who enjoys putting solid financial structures in place in an early-stage non-profit. In collaboration with the other board members, the Treasurer oversees all financial and fiscal matters of the foundation and supports the further professionalisation of ARC’s financial governance.

This is a voluntary, unpaid position, in accordance with Dutch law (reasonable expenses reimbursed), with an estimated 6-8 hours per month time commitment.

3. About you
– Experience in a financial or governance role within a non-profit or foundation
– Knowledge of the Dutch regulatory framework for stichtingen (ANBI experience is a strong plus)
– Fluent in Dutch and English
– Comfortable working with budgets, reporting, and financial oversight
– Affinity with wellbeing, mental health, or burnout prevention
– Personal experience with burnout (preferred)
