Do you have a passion for photography and enjoy inspiring others? We’d love to hear from you!

Help us bring a new photography group to life! Dynamo Atelier 77 is looking for an enthusiastic volunteer who would enjoy building a creative community together with us.
A place where people meet, explore their surroundings with a camera or smartphone, and inspire one another through photography.

You’ll have plenty of freedom to shape the group together with us.
From planning creative photo challenges to deciding when the group meets—your ideas and creativity will help bring this new initiative to life.

What will you do?

– Decide together when and how often the group will meet.
– Create fun and accessible photography challenges for people using a camera or smartphone.
– Head out together to photograph the Rivierenbuurt, Amsterdam Zuid, or anywhere else the group would like to explore.
– Review photos during the group meetings at Atelier 77, share experiences and inspire one another.
– Create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels at home.

About Dynamo Atelier 77

– Dynamo Atelier 77 is a creative community hub in Amsterdam’s Rivierenbuurt, where local residents come together to explore art, culture and creativity while meeting new people.
– Atelier 77 will be the home base of the photography group. A place to meet, exchange ideas, review photos and find inspiration. The photography itself can take place anywhere: around the neighbourhood, across Amsterdam Zuid or wherever the group decides to go.

Who are we looking for?

– You enjoy photography, whether you use a camera or your smartphone.
– You like bringing people together.
– You’re excited about building a new group and making it your own.
– Teaching experience isn’t necessary—we value enthusiasm, creativity and a welcoming attitude above all else.

What do we offer?

– A warm and welcoming place where creativity comes in many forms.
– A volunteer allowance of €5.50 per 4-hour session.
– A small budget for materials or activities organised by the photography group.
– Support and guidance from the Dynamo team whenever needed.
– Plenty of freedom to shape the group together with us—your ideas and creativity matter.
– Fun team outings and a small year-end appreciation gift.

When?

– We’ll decide the day and time together. Opportunities are available on Monday (morning, afternoon or evening), Tuesday afternoon or evening, Wednesday evening, Thursday evening, Friday morning, Friday evening or during the weekend. Together we’ll find a regular time that suits both you and the group.
