Would you like to be part of Cinekid Festival Amsterdam 2026?

From 5 to 16 October 2026, we’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make Cinekid Festival a great experience for our young visitors, aged 3 to 14.

There are lots of different ways to get involved. You could help out at the MediaLab, during workshops, in the cinemas, with welcoming and guiding visitors, or as part of the promotion team. There’s a role for everyone, and no previous experience is needed. All you need is enthusiasm and a willingness to help out!

What are we looking for?

You’re enthusiastic, positive and reliable.
You’re available for at least 2 days between 5 and 16 October. You’re very welcome to join for more days too, and the days don’t have to be consecutive.

Shifts

Shifts are approximately 4 to 8 hours.

5–9 October: Cinekid School Programme
7 October: Cinekid Festival Opening
10–16 October: Cinekid Festival Amsterdam
