We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who want to help us make the world’s largest film and media festival for children, an unforgettable experience!

From October 20 to November 3, 2024, the world’s largest film and media festival for children (ages 3 to 14) will take place: Cinekid! And just like every year, we are once again looking for enthusiastic volunteers! Would you like to help?

Do you love films, series, and new media? Do you want to learn new skills while helping children grow, or maybe rediscover your inner child? Then the Cinekid Festival is looking for you! Being a volunteer at Cinekid is fun, educational, and sociable!

The different roles:

Activity Leader – MediaLab: Do you enjoy being around enthusiastic children and want to learn more about the latest games, virtual reality experiences, and animation workshops in our MediaLab? Then we are looking for you! As an activity leader, you will get children excited about the activities in the MediaLab and guide them through it. No worries – technical knowledge is appreciated but not required. You’ll receive clear instructions in advance.

Usher: The usher ensures that young visitors vote for the audience award. You guide the audience, answer their questions, and make sure the room stays tidy. Do you have a sharp eye and enjoy helping? Then we’re looking for you!

Host(ess): You are the face of Cinekid. As a host, you welcome visitors and make them feel right at home. Questions? You’re there in no time. Scanning tickets, handing out program guides, giving directions – bring it on! Are you hospitable and love helping people? Then this role is for you.

Supercrew: Would you like to take on more responsibility during the festival? Are you good at organizing and leading? Do you want to fully immerse yourself in the Cinekid festival experience and its organization? Then you belong in the Supercrew. During the festival, you will support with tasks needed at the moment. From welcoming volunteers to assisting as an usher or helping out in the MediaLab – a fantastic role where you will learn a lot!

Cinekid Professional Mixer Host: Cinekid for Professionals is the 4-day international event for professionals in the children’s film and media industry. It will take place from October 29 to November 1, 2024. As a host at Cinekid for Professionals, you will welcome guests, assist with registration, and guide them to various sessions and activities. You ensure that the event runs smoothly by answering questions.
