Little car expert, big adventure; who’s joining in?

In the Kinkerbuurt neighbourhood lives a 5-year-old boy and his father. He has a congenital disability and therefore uses a wheelchair, but that doesn’t hold him back. His secret mission? Spotting every MyWheels car in the neighbourhood. He asks a hundred questions a minute and knows every car brand by heart. Together with his dad, he loves going on adventures. They’ve already discovered the wheelchair-friendly Gibraltar playground.

He’s a little shy when he first meets someone, but his dad is always there to help him feel at ease. At home he loves puzzles, making art, and of course playing with his toy cars. It’s those quiet, ordinary things that make him happy.

Right now he spends most of his time with his dad and professional carers. Father and son are hoping to become part of a family in the neighbourhood a little more often, playing together, being outside, and doing what the things other kids do too.

Maybe your family recognises this, and would find it a real joy to spend time together. At the playground, or simply hanging out at home somewhere in Amsterdam.
