Client Care Coordinator

Looking to connect LGBTQ+ asylum seekers to psychological support?
Become our Care Coordinator! Minimum 6 hours per week from home.
We offer support to make informed healthier life choices.

Specific duties and tasks of the Client Care Coordinator

• Assist clients register and become familiar with Choices services
• Screen and assess program participants for Choices services
• Connect new registered clients with psychologist based upon language and
• availability for intake assessment consultation
• Work collaboratively with Choices partner organisations to ensure that clients have
• access to all necessary medical and supportive services
• Assist psychologists provide referrals to addiction treatment, medical care, mental
• health services, legal support, etc. related services
• Serve as a liaison between other agencies as needed.
• When appropriate will participate in agency research and evaluation activities.
• Ensure all client charts and confidentiality of client records meet Choices guidelines,
• including national and EU privacy regulations.
• Attend team meetings and volunteer supervision

Required languages: English, and Dutch

Location:
This volunteer position is remote, online, video call consultations, and by phone.

Work qualifications/experience:

• Experience providing client intake sessions, screenings and needs assessments
• Excellent documentation, record keeping and reporting skills.
• Strong organizational, writing, presentation, communication, and computer skills
• Possess the ability to coordinate multiple modalities occurring concurrently.
• Knowledgeable of asylum centers and asylum process helpful

Choices offers:

• A volunteer contract of assignment for at least 6 hours per week;
• You will be compensated for travel and approved supplies needed for the position
