In our community café ‘A Beautiful Mess’ at azc Willinklaan in Amsterdam new west, the Refugee Company foundation works with and for people with a refugee background. Residents of the asylum seekers’ centre can come here for a cup of coffee/tea, but also follow workshops and training courses (current offer: Dutch lessons; a barista workshop, English conversation lessons, workshop ‘working in NL’). They also give it themselves, depending on their knowledge and talent. We would like to strengthen our team with new volunteers who are willing and able to give a workshop on a weekday (Wed, Thu or Fri between 10 am and 4 pm). This can be Dutch conversation class or, for example, organize a weekly walk, but we are open to other ideas. Does this sound like something to you? Then we would love to hear from you!
