Volunteer during the fifteenth edition of the Amsterdam Light Festival!

Working days: Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday and open every day during the Christmas holidays

From Thursday, November 26, 2026, through Sunday, January 17, 2027, the fifteenth edition of Amsterdam Light Festival will take place. Volunteers play an important role during Amsterdam Light Festival, and this year we are once again looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join and strengthen our team!

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
As a volunteer at Amsterdam Light Festival, you will work together with other volunteers at an information point along the route, assist visitors at one of the interactive artworks, and/or support us at various events, such as the official opening of the festival.

You will be the main point of contact for visitors and an important ambassador for the festival. During your shift, you will not only answer visitors’ questions, but also help them get started with the festival app and assist with questions about the other experiences we offer.

Here is a quick overview of what we expect from you and what you can expect from us:

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
– Ideally, you are available for at least five days/evenings between 4:00 PM and 9:15 PM during the period from November 26, 2026, through January 17, 2027.
– You are willing to attend an information workshop in early November (date to be announced).
