ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION:
Blend Amsterdam is a social enterprise (ANBI foundation), largely run by volunteers. We organize meetings with social impact for companies and organizations and run a coffee-soup and yoga café. We work at a historic site in the center of Amsterdam. Would you like to contribute to the growth of a social enterprise with the aim of achieving a double impact (turnover & the number of participants)? Then we might be looking for you.

Our participants are young sensitive adults who need extra attention, students with burnout complaints and young adults who want to (re)integrate into Dutch society. In addition to hands-on-work we provide an informal network and free accessible workshop with activities such as yoga, meditation, personal leadership and cooking. By facilitating the participants the process of ‘being’ and ‘doing’ something with others in a hospitable environment, Blend Amsterdam contributes to stress reduction and greater resilience.

Practical work gives the participants renewed self-confidence, work experience and makes social enterprise accessible to a larger audience. The informal network and safety net that Blend Amsterdam provides, as well as diverse team composition, provide a uniquely warm and hospitable atmosphere.

MISSION:
Blend supports people in achieving a healthier balance in their lives by creating places where people meet each other at their own pace and in a natural and casual manner and create an informal safety net. A place where people can develop and collaborate with other people with diverse backgrounds and living environments.

WHAT KNOWLEDGE OR SKILLS ARE NEEDED?
You would like to dedicate part of your time, experience, knowledge and skills to an enterprise that makes a social impact. You have appropriate knowledge and know-how needed to achieve our goals. You are socially skilled and you have a good understanding of what is involved in running a social enterprise and what is required to do this. Or, you want to explore this further. You like to get down to work, independently and/or within the team. You are looking forward to taking up this challenge and positively contribute to the mission and impact of Blend Amsterdam.
