Treehouse NDSM is looking for a volunteer videographer to capture the energy, atmosphere, and artistic depth of our events, concerts, and exhibitions.
Located at T.T. Neveritaweg 55–57 in Amsterdam-Noord, Treehouse NDSM is a vibrant creative hub with over 100 affordable, sustainable, and multi-disciplinary studios. Known as a “playground for serious artists,” Treehouse provides space for creative professionals to work, collaborate, and present their work to the public through exhibitions, performances, concerts, and community gatherings.

We are seeking a videographer who can visually translate this spirit into compelling video content such as short snippets, atmosphere videos and short aftermovies.

What You’ll Be Capturing:
– Live at Our Place
A monthly series of intimate concerts by Treehouse’s musicians-in-residence. The industrial Pavilion building transforms into the artist’s own living room, each edition shaped around the musician’s unique style and atmosphere.

– Night at Our Place
A new electronic music series spotlighting emerging talent from within our creative community. As the sister event of Live at Our Place, the evening transforms the building into an open landscape of sound, visuals, encounters, and dance. Visitors move through studios, experience artistic interventions, meet creators, share food, and dance into the late hours. It is immersive, layered, and dynamic.

– Exhibitions & Creative School Workshops

Treehouse NDSM also presents thematic group exhibitions featuring resident, Dutch, and international artists. Each edition centers on a social or cultural theme, from humans and water to food and mental health, and showcases multidisciplinary work including performance, installation, objects, and video.
In addition, Treehouse Creative School hosts workshops led by resident artists, offering hands-on insight into diverse artistic practices. These moments provide intimate, process-driven scenes that complement the larger events.

What We’re Looking For
– Strong visual sensitivity and an eye for atmosphere
– Experience or ambition to film live music, performance, or cultural events is a plus
– Own camera equipment
