Our children’s farm is:
A popular meeting place for people of all ages in Amsterdam Watergraafsmeer.
Was set up by people from the neighbourhood, and is now run by volunteers and certified supervisors.
Is open seven days a week and counts up to 42500 visitors a year.
Is populated by chickens, peacocks, pigs, rabbits, Guinea pigs, sheep, goats, ducks, ponies and a donkey.
Also welcomes rabbits that are in need of a new home.
Is a professional organisation with a wide social objective.

The job consists of:
Cleaning the enclosures, pens or stables.
Keeping the area tidy.
Feeding the animals.
Taking the animals from their cages, pens or stables and bringing them back.

If you are:
Someone who loves animals.
Are able to work independently
Respects all animals and their environment.
Loves working out in the open.
Are socially adept.

We will offer you:
A warm and welcoming workspace with professional assistance.
A place to connect with animals and with people.
Outdoors in the fresh air.
There will be a volunteers meeting twice a year, one to discuss issues to do with the job.
And twice a year there will be a get-together just for fun.

Hours:
The farm is open to the public each day from 9 till 13.00, and the afternoon shift starts at 13.30 till 17.30.
Weekends we start at 10.00.
