What does a buddy do?
Many people in Amsterdam with developmental challenges experience loneliness. You can change that – just by being there.
Together you might :
Go for walks together or ride bikes
Have a friendly chat
Share a laugh that brings joy and connection
Who are you?
You are someone who:
Is positive and enthusiastic
Takes initiative and focuses on possibilities
Communicates clearly in English
Keeps promises and shows reliability
Respects your buddy’s wishes and pace
Can volunteer 1, 5 hours per week for at least six months.
