We are looking for a compassionate person with a warm heart who would like to help with the Happy Hour for elderly residents under the guidance of an activity supervisor.

Your tasks

Every first Friday of the month we need a volunteer to pick up the residents from their ward and accompany to the Happy Hour. This is a fun afternoon with music, dance, snacks and drinks. You help prepare the snacks and serve drinks. You encourage residents to participate. After the activity you bring the residents back to their room. To see a smile on their faces will fill you with joy.

What do we expect of you?
You are patient and enjoy interacting with older people. You can motivate them to participate in activities.

What do we offer you?

We will help you with any aspects of this work which may be new to you ( e.g. pushing wheelchairs). We offer a safe, friendly and warm environment to work in. We regularly organise outings for our volunteers and you can always contact our volunteer coordinator should you have any questions or suggestions.

Working hours

The first Friday of the month from 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm.
