Job description:
Do you have an hour or several hours to volunteer on a flexible basis for the benefit of local residents in Buitenveldert? Several times a year we deliver personal invitations by post to our 650, mainly senior, clients, at home in the mailboxes for information, meetings or fairs. These letters, or part of these letters, will be cycled or walked around Buitenveldert for 1 week in your own time.
Required knowledge or skills:
Some knowledge of the street names in Buitenveldert.
What’s in it for you:
A nice walk, or, cycling in the fresh air whilst volunteering for the good cause, namely, for the benefit of senior residents of Buitenveldert.
Working hours:
These letters, or part of them, will be delivered cycled or on the day and time of your choosing for a duration of one week. The next period in which the letters have to be delivered is from 16 to 25 August ’23.
We also welcome Amsterdam civil servants as volunteers and other people who have a maximum of 32 hours available.
