Job description:
We’re looking for people who are open to engaging in honest, respectful conversations with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds — many of whom have experienced a difficult life shaped by trauma, addiction, or psychological challenges.
At Treasure House, we believe everyone is equal. That means listening with compassion, and also being willing to share a bit of your own story.
You might help make coffee, clear dishes, prepare a meal, play a song on the guitar, or tidy up at the end of the day. What matters most is your presence and your willingness to simply be there.
Required skills
A warm and responsible attitude to help foster a friendly, safe environment
Ability to manage small conflicts with patience and care
Willingness to commit for a minimum of 4 months
A high level of tolerance and openness toward people with different lifestyles and worldviews
Cooking skills are a bonus — but not required
What’s in there for you
The opportunity to bring peace and kindness into a conflicted world
Practice your Dutch and other languages (French, Spanish, Bulgarian, Estonian, Czech etc.)
Having a laugh on a boring Sunday afternoon with people you normally wouldn’t talk to.
Working hours
Treasure House is open every Sunday from 1 pm to 7:00 pm
Your working hours/days can be flexible.
