We are looking for a compassionate and emphatic person who would like to paint together with elderly residents under the guidance of an activity supervisor.

Your tasks

On Tuesday morning we need a volunteer to pick up the residents from their ward and accompany them to the painting activity. There is a painter who supervises the activity. During the break you serve snacks and drinks. You encourage the residents to participate in this creative activity. After the activity you bring the residents back to their room. To see a smile on their faces will fill you with joy.

What do we expect of you?

We are looking for someone who likes to be in the company of elderly people and has the ability to motivate them to participate.

What do we offer you?

We will help you with any aspects of this work which may be new to you ( e.g. pushing wheelchairs). We offer a safe, friendly and warm environment to work in. We regularly organise outings for our volunteers and you can always contact our volunteers’ coordinator should you have any questions or suggestions.

Working hours:

Every last Thursday of the month from 1.30 till 3.30 p.m.
