We are looking for a warm-hearted and emphatic person who would love to listen to and talk about classical music with people of advanced age, together with an activity supervisor.
On Wednesday mornings in even weeks we need a volunteer to pick up the residents from their ward and bring them to the music activity. You assist the supervisor who is in charge. After the activity you will talk with the residents about the music. During the break you will serve nibbles and poor the drinks. You encourage the residents to participate and bring them back to their room after the activity. It gives a satisfied feeling, because to see that listening to music does the elderly so good.
What do we expect of you?
We are looking for someone who is patient, who likes to be in the company of elderly people and has the ability to motivate them to participate.
What do we offer?
