We are looking for a compassionate person with a warm heart who enjoys doing gymnastics with the elderly under the guidance of an activity supervisor.

Your tasks
Every Monday morning we need a volunteer to pick up the residents from their ward and accompany them to the gymnastics activity. You will assist the activity supervisor. During the break you will serve snacks and drinks. You encourage the residents to excercise. After the activity you bring them back to their room. To see a smile on their faces will fill you with joy.

What do we expect of you?

We are looking for someone who is patient and likes to be in the company of elderly people You have the ability to motivate them to join activities.
What do we offer?
We will help you with any aspects of this work which may be new to you ( e.g. pushing wheelchairs). We offer a safe, friendly and warm environment to work in. We regularly organise outings for our volunteers and you can always contact our volunteer coordinator should you have any questions or observations.

Working hours:
Every Monday from 9.30 to 11.30. If there is sufficient interest for this role, a fortnighjtly commitment is negotiable.
