We are seeking enthusiastic assistance at the entrance for ticket sales and ticket checking during our Sunday morning performances.

Amsterdam Youth Theater Collectief is comprised of seven youth theater groups. Together, we make theater accessible to all children in Amsterdam. Our performances are often interactive, allowing children to participate. How fun is that! In addition to the joy children experience during our performances, they are also educational. For example, a toddler show might focus on colors or counting, while a show for preschoolers might be about cooking and animals. Older children learn through theater and play how to interact with others or how to overcome their fears. But in everything we do, we want to stimulate the imagination of all children above all else.

What will you be doing?
On Sundays, we need a volunteer at three locations in Amsterdam West between 10:00 and 11:15 to work behind the cash register, welcoming the audience and providing information about coats, cell phone usage, food and drinks, and, possibly directing visitors to their seats.

What are we looking for in you?
Someone hospitable, proficient with the cash register and basic math skills. Also, it will be great if you’re able to convey enthusiasm.

Working Hours
Sunday mornings, to be arranged based on locations and specific Sundays. Between 10:00 and 11:15, at three different locations in Amsterdam West.
