We are looking for a compassionate and emphatic person who enjoys the company of the elderly residents under the guidance of an activity supervisor.

Your tasks
For every last Thursday of the month we need a volunteer to pick up the residents from their ward day and bring them to the bingo activity .You will assist the activity supervisor and help the residents fill in their cards. During the break you will serve snacks and drinks. You encourage the residents to participate. After the activity you bring them back to their room. It enhances your sense of fulfillment because you will see the activity elderly it does the elderly so good.
What do we ask of you?
We are looking for someone who is patient, likes to be in the company of elderly people and has the ability to motivate them to participate.
What do we offer you?
We will help you with any aspects of this work which may be new to you ( e.g. pushing wheelchairs). We offer a safe, friendly and warm environment to work in. We regularly organise outings for our volunteers and you can always address our volunteers’ coordinator with questions or suggestions.
Working hours:
Every last Thursday of the month from 1.30 till 3.30 p.m.
