BOOST serves as home base for many newcomers with a refugee background in Amsterdam. Eating together plays an important role in their community. Would you like to help us prepare warm meals?

1. Job description:
Every day we prepare a warm lunch for 100 people. As an independent working cook you will create the menu, do the shopping and cook a meal alongside a small team.

2. Required knowledge or skills:
Experience with cooking for large groups is a must. You are also stress- resistant and able to work well together in a team.

You’ll get to know many people from diverse backgrounds. It will enrich your life and expand your network. There are various gatherings and parties for our volunteers.

4. Working hours:
You will work from 9 a.m – 12:30 p.m. You can do the shopping in the morning, or the day before. We are currently looking for cooks for Monday and Friday.
