The Kolenkitkrant is a neighborhood newspaper created by and for local residents. It is published three times a year with a circulation of 3,300 copies. Together, we brainstorm topics, write articles, and share news about what’s happening in the community. Get involved, share your ideas, and make an impact in your neighborhood!
What will you do?
– Write articles about the topics from the neighborhood that interest you
– Contribute ideas during editorial meetings
– Submit texts in Dutch or another language (we take care of corrections and translations)
What do you need?
– Interest in what’s happening in the Kolenkit neighborhood
– Enthusiasm for storytelling – no experience required!
– Availability to attend three editorial meetings per year
– The rest of your work schedule is flexible, at your own pace

We want the Kolenkitkrant to reflect the diversity of our neighborhood and warmly invite residents of all cultural backgrounds to participate. You can write in Dutch or another language, and we will support you with editing and translations.
