Join ‘Ukrainians For Dinner’ and host a dinner at your home.

Since the start of the war, many Ukrainians have come to the Netherlands, and are now living in people’s homes or in one of the country’s many shelters. To offer them a carefree evening and a brief escape from a living environment with little privacy, we organize Ukrainians For Dinner. In Amsterdam we are now looking for hosts to join our project.

How does it work?
As a resident of Amsterdam, you host one or more Ukrainian refugees for a nice dinner at your home. You create a free account on our online Eet Mee matching platform and fill your profile page with a short biography. Then organise your dinner and select the theme group ‘Ukrainians For Dinner’. Indicate your preferences and post your dinner online. You then choose from the guests who signed up who you eventually will invite. After that, you’ll get the contact details and can discuss further details with your guests.

You cook something tasty for your guests or do so together with them. For them, it is nice to be back in a domestic setting and get to know fellow locals and their culture. You meet the people behind the stories in the news and provide them the chance to build a social network.

Ukrainians For Dinner has participants across the country and the dinners are appreciated by both guests and hosts with more than an 9.
