You will also sell various other hot and cold drinks, and visitors can order cake and pastries, toasted sandwiches, and paninis from you. You are the friendly, professional face of the museum café! In this volunteer role, you will be part of the Visitors, Service & Safety team, working alongside other volunteers and permanent staff to ensure a welcoming reception for all visitors to our unique and surprising museum.

• You are welcoming and friendly, present yourself neatly, and can work independently.
• You can express yourself very well in English. Preferabley you also have some command of Dutch (or are in the process of learning Dutch).

We ask all new volunteers to provide a recent Certificate of Conduct (VOG). The application for the VOG will be arranged by the museum and takes place before the volunteer agreement is signed.

WHAT DO YOU GET IN RETURN?
We offer a wonderful workplace in the city center, featuring enjoyable interactions with visitors from all over the world. You will work alongside enthusiastic museum staff who are eager to share their knowledge. Reimbursement for travel expenses and a weekend allowance is possible. Additionally, you can be reimbursed annually for the cost of a Museum Card (Museumkaart).

WHAT IS THE ADDED VALUE OF THIS VOLUNTEER WORK? As a museum café volunteer at Museum Ons’ Lieve Heer, you contribute to the visitor experience for all our guests. This allows us to offer our visitors that little bit extra.
