We are looking for a compassionate person with a warm heart who enjoys playing games with the elderly under the guidance of an activity supervisor.

Your tasks

Every other week we need a volunteer to pick up our residents from their ward and accompany them to the games room. You will assist the activity supervisor. During the break you will serve snacks and drinks. After the activity you will bring the resident back to their room. It will mak eyou feel fulfilled to see that playing games does the elderly so good.

What do we expect from you?

You are patient and enjoy the company of the elderly. You are able to motivate them to participate. It will give you a lot of satisfaction because you will see that this activity makes the residents happy.

We are looking for someone who likes to be in the company of elderly people and has the ability to motivate them to participate.

What do we offer?

We will help you with any aspects of this work which may be new to you ( e.g. pushing wheelchairs). We offer a safe, friendly and warm environment to work in. We regularly organise outings for our volunteers and you can always contact our volunteers’ coordinator should you have any questions or suggestions.

Working hours:

Every last Thursday of the month from 1.30 till 3.30 p.m.
