Blend Community Café provides a safe, welcoming and supportive environment for a diverse group of people who come together to connect, develop and contribute to creating a more beautiful world for all.

Blend Community Café is primarily committed to young adults in a vulnerable position, ranging from loneliness, addiction problems, long covid, burnout and a history with youth care. We offer access to a diverse and inclusive environment, where social support and meaningful (leisure) time are central.

At Blend Amsterdam, we pay attention to your (mental) vulnerability as well as your growth. We offer weekly workshops that help you find a good balance between your mind and your body In addition, there are various jobs , such as catering, in a beautiful, relatively quiet environment.

You work in a team, building your CV and you getting to know yourself better in an informal, playful way:. Find out what makes you happy. What are your challenges and what are your strengths?. You work together with inspiring colleagues, who are going through a life changing process just like you. Blend Amsterdam meets the requirements that many organizations set for valuable daytime activities.

Within our team we work with different learning levels and people with different backgrounds. You will receive a volunteer compensation. You will find us in the center of Amsterdam within a walking distance from the Waterloo Square, easily accessible by public transport.

WORKING HOURS:
Working hours are often flexible and in consultation with you. The workshops on Tuesdays are a permanent part of the programme and you will also spend 1 day in the coffee- and- soup café, Also, you can often during business meetings.
