This creative community space is looking for a friendly and patient facilitator for the sewing atelier on Thursday afternoons. Are you skilled with a sewing machine and enjoy connecting people? Then keep reading!

At Atelier 77, people can easily and enjoyably explore their creativity under the guidance of volunteers, whether in the creative lab or the sewing workshop. As a volunteer with Dynamo Welzijn, it’s important that you enjoy bringing people from diverse backgrounds together and fostering connections. Most importantly, your role is to make everyone feel welcome. You are patient, able to explain and demonstrate techniques clearly. We aim to encourage local residents to (re)discover and develop their talents, and you play a vital role in this.

We provide sewing machines. The sewing workshop is a drop-in activity (no prior registration needed), meaning the group size may vary from week to week. Participants range from those with no experience using a sewing machine to those who simply need support and tips for creating or repairing their own projects. This variety keeps things exciting! As the workshop supervisor, you’ll provide tips and tricks as needed.

As a volunteer with Dynamo, you’ll receive a volunteer allowance, the opportunity to take relevant (free) training courses, and invitations to events where we celebrate our volunteers (think High Tea, New Year’s receptions, etc.), plus a Christmas gift at the end of the year.
