Do you want to become an expert in baking sourdough bread, at one of the most beautiful spaces in Amsterdam?

TAAKOMSCHRIJVING
As a baker at Gist, you’ll be doing two things: kneading and preparing the dough; and baking the bread. The kneading and preparing the dough consists of the following. You start around 8:30-10:00 and finish around 16:30, though the majority of the time will be spent waiting, meaning that you’ll have a lot of free time to do other things in between (reading, administration, etc.). You start with forming a dough, kneading it multiple times during the day and end with putting it into the refrigerator for it to be baked the day after. The baking of the bread consists of the following. You’ll start around 8:30 – 10:00 and finish around 13:00. You will bake all the bread that has been prepared the day before.

No previous experience or knowledge is required. An interest in baking is preferred. We are happy to teach you everything!
