This autumn, we’re bringing the magic of nature to life with our Wonder Forest West project, in which the trees speak to you! Would you like to help us make this unique project possible?

Wonder Forest West project comprises three evenings in three parks in Amsterdam West. Each evening includes an enchanting route along ten illuminated speaking trees with special tasks such as the Tree of Life, the Idea Tree and the Climate Tree. Local artists provide musical accompaniment to the stories that these trees will be telling.
Visitors will be immersed in various sound worlds, ranging from classical to jazz music and bird sounds.

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist us on the following days!

Sunday 10 November in the Domela Nieuwenhuisplantsoen,
Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 November in Westerpark,
Sunday 15 December in Erasmus Park

What will you do?

– Decorate trees with eyes and lights and pretty decorations
– Hang speaker boxes so that the trees can tell their story
– Welcome and speak to visitors
– Be a walking guide and show visitors around 10 special trees

We will provide an informative, entertaining day full of stories about the nature around us. And of course there will be a delicious soup and tea to enjoy!
