Due to the great success of the ReShare Atelier Collection, we are looking for more makers. Join our team!
Recently, the ReShare Store in Oud-West launched its own Atelier Collection. Due to great success (in the first week, more than half of our clothes collection was already sold), we are looking for more makers to create new items for the collection. The Atelier Collection is 100% circular and is made out of second-hand clothes that are brought into the shop but can no longer be sold. It is a quirky, creative collection in which the hand of different makers is visible.
By upcycling, we turn second-hand garments into something new. This can be done by combining several items, altering garments, adapting them or visibly mending them. The creative possibilities are endless! Together with other volunteers from the sewing atelier and the floor manager, you design and create unique pieces. This way, we work together towards less waste and a more sustainable future.
The (re)making can be done in our small workshop in the shop, but may also be done at home. When you come to the shop, you meet other people and can develop your language skills.
Talents you can use: creativity, coming up with ideas, creating atmosphere, lending a helping hand and a listening ear.
All proceeds from the collection will go to the Salvation Army to help people who would otherwise be left out.
Would you like to use your creativity and sewing skills for a good cause? Then respond quickly to this role. We will get in touch with you!
