Stichting Plan Angel is seeking a thoughtful and compassionate Volunteer Administrative Support Assistant who is fluent in Spanish (spoken and written) and who is comfortable working in a context where emotional sensitivity, trust, and care are essential.

Stichting Plan Angel supports biological families and adoptees from Colombia, many of whom are navigating questions around identity, family separation, reconnection, and personal history. Our work is grounded in respect, confidentiality, and an understanding of the potential emotional and psychological impact of adoption-related processes.
We strive to create a safe and supportive space where communication is handled with care and where each individual’s story is treated with dignity.
The Role
This volunteer role focuses on administrative and communication support, with an emphasis on trauma-aware, culturally sensitive interaction. You will not be expected to provide counseling or therapeutic support, but your work will help ensure that communication and administration are handled in a calm, respectful, and organized manner.
Responsibilities
• Providing administrative and organizational support
• Managing emails, documents, and records with a high level of confidentiality
• Supporting Spanish-language communication with biological families and adoptees from Colombia
• Assisting with written correspondence, translations, and documentation
• Supporting coordination and internal planning tasks
• Maintaining clear, accurate, and secure records
Your Profile
• Experience in administration, social work settings, or support roles is a plus
• Fluent in Spanish, both spoken and written
• Good command of English (Dutch is an advantage, not a requirement)
• Empathetic, calm, and respectful in written and verbal communication
• Awareness of trauma-informed and culturally sensitive practices (or willingness to learn)
• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
• Comfortable handling sensitive and personal information
