Every Monday, at the SocieTijd de Gezelligheid (Social Time & Conviviality), we cook delightful meals from rescued food for nice people in an inspiring place in Amsterdam North.

1. Job description:
We are against waste, we are for connection. Every Monday we receive groceries, free of charge, from Crisp, which we use to jointly prepare a 3-course meal for everyone who enjoys eating together with us. We mainly focus on people in the neighborhood. Since we get the food for free, we can also serve the food for almost free! We do ask people for a favour in return, an hour of their time (a Uuro :)).

We are looking for people who enjoy cooking or helping out in the kitchen in some other way. We should like you to come and help us for at least 2 hours, but preferably 3 or more hours during which you can invest your time and energy with us in preparing lovely meals.

2. Required knowledge or skills:
All knowledge and skills in the kitchen are welcome, but we believe in learning-by-doing. You don’t need to have any experience, knowledge or skills. It would be great if you liked to tackle things and were open to help with various tasks.

3. What does it get you:
We call ourselves Social Time & Conviviality, and, that is exactly what you get; plus free meals and ,often, free groceries.

4. Working hours.
We determine this together. Anything between 12 p.m. and 9 p.m. is good.
