SISTER SCHOOLS & DEEP Kenya are looking for a Country Manager Kenya to assist the Director in Kenya Sarah Wanjira and her team. Your duties will include supporting the Kenyan partner organization in areas such as communication and marketing, fundraising, and program development. We’re looking for an individual who is passionate about education, with affinity and knowledge of Kenyan culture, responsible, committed, and with good communication and organizational skills.

Momo Education by Sister Schools Foundation is an educational Global Citizenship programme for students aged 10 – 16, that focuses on connecting youth from both sides of the welfare divide using our Digital Educational Exchange Platform (DEEP). By connecting with schools worldwide, we aim to create a digitally connected network for educational innovation. Our work aligns with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) ‘Quality education’ (4) and ‘Reduced inequalities’ (10). It’s MoMo’s mission to create a globally interconnected learning & communication platform by supporting schools in Kenya with digital education and connecting them to sister schools in the Netherlands through a global citizenship programme, focussed on equal opportunity, children rights and media & digital literacy.
Core product MoMo Education; an international educational exchange program aimed at intercultural collaboration between pupils with a different socio-economic and cultural background, for sustainable development.

Sister Schools has established digital educational exchange projects in Kenya & the Netherlands with 500 + pupils since 2018.

Skills & Qualifications:
Proven work experience (2+ years) as a project manager with a network in East Africa (Kenya).
Strong communication and organizational skills
Team worker with a passion for (lifelong) learning and internationalization of education, making a positive change in the lives of many!

Accounting
Computer skills (maintenance and programming)
Software (excel, word, PPT)
A flexible approach to work in a diverse team.
Willingness to learn new skills and open to collaborate between the several teams.

You will be:
Assisting the Kenyan country manager in the project execution and preparing the (financial) reports
Working with the teams marketing, R&D, Management, Online Educational Material Developers a.o.
Organizing, planning and budgeting the projects
Assisting & reporting to the director of MoMo

Most of the work is online and you will be working together with our team of professional volunteers.
