Join Momo Education as a volunteer Editor/Asst.Editor/DIT ! Our international organization connects students between the Netherlands and Africa—a globalized world participation program fostering entrepreneurial education for all.
The event: We will be having one such exchange from May 12-16th between a school in Amsterdam and one in Kenya and are looking for people in the video production field to help document, vlog and edit footage of the event.
We are looking for: An editor to work with the producer to take each days footage and assemble a short highlight reel of the classroom event with music and light graphics. You’ll need to the ability to work fast as we will be posting every day from the event! We will be editing in Adobe Premiere Pro. Having your own NLE set-up and being able to bring it to set would be optimal.
An assistant editor and a DIT person. These two roles may be combined with the right person. This person will be coordinating, digitizing and rough assembling footage shot in Amsterdam and Kenya as well as other pre-taped elements and taped Google Meet footage. Must have the technical knowledge to work quickly and be able to help synthesize and string-out the footage with the help and supervision of the on-set producer.

You’ll have the opportunity to capture our journey’s exciting moments under the guidance of documentary filmmaker Julia Strijland and a large, close-knit team of experienced contributors. You’ll help create compelling content for our social platforms and website, contributing to making learning thrilling for all.
Task Description:
Video Content Creation & Teaching:
Produce engaging, high-quality video content that reflects Momo Education’s mission and vision.
Highlight the impact of our programs, events, and initiatives with captivating visuals.
Optimize video content for various social media platforms to ensure maximum engagement.
Enhance our website with visually appealing video features.
Optional: Support students (ages 10-18) in creating their own video content.
Independent Work:
Independently manage video projects, showcasing creativity and resourcefulness.
Take full ownership of the video production process, from conceptualization to editing.
Event Coverage:
Document key moments during Momo Education events, workshops, and activities.
Collaborate with the team to produce impactful story-driven event highlight videos.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in videography, including shooting and editing skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Creative mindset with a keen eye for compelling visuals.
A passion for education and storytelling.
