Sister Schools is looking for a young and enthusiastic person, with broad experience in (hybrid) event organisation & donor / fundraising events. You join Sister Schools and your first job is to organize a dinner party on June 30.
TASK DESCRIPTION:
As an event organizer you are responsible for setting up the events for the MoMo Education by Sister Schools Foundation. Our aim is to gain more name recognition as a registered NGO and attract donors & private funders to support our mission and vision.
Twice a year schools are part of a crowdfunding organised by MoMo & DEEP Kenya (our partner organisation in Kenya):
1. MoMo Spreads Love Summeraction
June 21st (summer solstice) – August 26 (Women’s Equality Day)
2. MoMo Spreads Love Winteraction
November 21st (winter solstice & World’s Children Rights day) – January 24th (World Education Day)
Once a year on June 30 a crowdfunding event/donation dinner party is organised in the Netherlands.
Once a year on november 21st, World Children Rights Day a hybrid conference is organised, together with the partners of MoMo & DEEP both in Kenya & the Netherlands on ‘the right to have access to quality education’.
You will work in an international team of volunteers, who support the events with marketing activities and budgeting/finances.
